What we collect on this website
- Contact details you submit through our forms — name, email, phone, company and your message
- Basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site working
- No analytics, advertising or third-party tracking tools run on this site
Why we collect it
To respond to enquiries, to provide the demo or information you asked for, and to keep records of business communication. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept only as long as needed to answer your enquiry, and are then deleted. Where a commercial relationship begins, records are kept for the period required by applicable tax and contract law.
Data in customer deployments
When we deploy a video system for a customer, that customer is the data fiduciary for the footage and any personal data the system processes. We act on their instructions as a data processor. Footage is stored on infrastructure the customer controls unless a written agreement says otherwise.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Write to info@cognixvision.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Security
We apply access control, encryption in transit and role separation appropriate to the data we hold. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected people and the relevant authority if a breach occurs, as the law requires.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change. The date of the last update is shown at the foot of the site.
