Overview
Built for control rooms, not demos
Most video software is sold on a feature list and then falls apart at the point where it matters — a hundred cameras on one wall, an operator who needs the last four minutes of footage right now, and a network that drops a stream at the worst possible moment.
Cognix Vision VMS is built the other way round. It runs in the browser, records to the drives you choose, keeps working when a site link goes down, and tells you the moment a camera stops sending video instead of leaving you to find out during an investigation.

Frequently asked
Does it work with our existing cameras?
In most cases yes — any ONVIF or RTSP camera can be onboarded. Send us your camera list and we will confirm before you commit to anything.
Where is the video stored?
On storage you control. You choose which drives hold recordings and which hold events, and set retention per drive. Nothing is forced into a public cloud.
Can we start with one site and add more later?
Yes. Camera groups are independent, so a second plant or branch is added without disturbing the first.
What happens if the network to a site drops?
Recording continues at the edge where an edge recorder is deployed, and the event feed flags the outage immediately so it is not discovered weeks later.
